Superleap Raises Rs 36 Cr From Peak XV Surge for AI-Native CRM

BENGALURU: Superleap raises Rs 36 crore in pre-Series A funding led by Peak XV Partners’ Surge for its enterprise AI-native CRM platform.

This round targets one of software’s most entrenched categories. CRM is a market that Salesforce has owned for two decades and that every generation of challengers has failed to crack. Superleap’s wager is that AI agents finally change the physics of the fight.

The argument runs like this. Legacy CRMs are databases that humans feed manually, and salespeople famously hate feeding them. An AI-native system flips the direction: agents capture interactions, update records, draft follow-ups, and surface the next action without anyone typing into a form. The CRM stops being a chore and becomes a colleague.

The fresh capital funds enterprise go-to-market expansion, deeper product and platform work, and the company’s AI capabilities. Peak XV’s Surge program brings more than money; its accelerator network has become the standard early path for ambitious Indian B2B software companies.

The timing has logic on its side. Enterprise agent adoption exploded through 2026, from ChatGPT Work to Claude Cowork, and buyers now expect AI to sit inside core systems rather than beside them. Incumbents see it too: Salesforce embedded agents across its clouds, and its venture arm has been writing AI checks all year.

That is also the risk. CRM challengers die on distribution, not product, and Salesforce’s grip on enterprise procurement is generational. Superleap’s opening is the mid-market, where switching costs run lower and AI-native pitches land faster.

The round joins a steady drumbeat of Indian B2B AI seeds this quarter. The category’s question is simple: can agents sell software that salespeople actually want?
