OpenAI Presence Corporate Software Launches to Help Enterprises Deploy Trusted AI Agents

New Delhi: OpenAI has announced the launch of OpenAI Presence Corporate Software, a new enterprise-grade AI agent platform designed to help large organizations deploy trusted voice and chat agents across customer-facing and internal workflows. The product became available on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, under a limited general availability program for eligible enterprise customers.

Presence is positioned not as a proof-of-concept tool but as a production-ready deployment product. OpenAI describes it as “battle-tested,” built through years of working directly with enterprise customers at scale. Each deployment is led by OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineers and select global systems integrators, and the product is not yet available as a self-serve offering.

The platform allows organizations to deploy AI agents that can answer questions, resolve issues, access company systems, take approved actions, and escalate to human agents when required. Businesses set the rules, what the agent can do, when it needs approval, and when a person should step in.

A Codex-powered improvement loop then monitors production sessions, identifies gaps, and proposes updates that teams can test and approve before rollout.

OpenAI is already using Presence internally to handle English-language phone support at 1-888-GPT-0090. Within weeks, it met or exceeded benchmarks used to grade frontline human-support quality and now resolves 75% of inbound issues without human assistance. Its Codex-powered improvement loop reduced human handoffs by 15 percentage points in just 10 days.

Several leading enterprises are among the early adopters. BBVA is exploring AI-powered voice support for everyday banking needs in Mexico. SoftBank is testing natural Japanese-language customer conversations, with frontline teams rating the agent’s language quality highly. IAG, the Australian insurance group, is exploring Presence for customer support during high-demand events such as severe weather and natural disasters.

“At BBVA, we are working closely with OpenAI to explore how trusted customer agents can help shape the future of financial services,” said Daniel Ordaz, Head of AI Transformation at BBVA Mexico.

“We see an opportunity to use Presence to deploy trusted customer agents that provide timely, reliable support for our customers during moments that matter,” added Julie Batch, CEO Retail Insurance Australia at IAG.

The platform supports real-time voice and chat experiences and includes policies, guardrails, simulation tools, evaluation frameworks, and escalation controls. OpenAI notes that Presence will continue to improve as its underlying models advance.

Enterprises interested in deploying Presence are directed to contact their OpenAI account team directly.
