Apple Creator Studio Just Got a Major AI Upgrade! Here’s What’s New - feature image

New Delhi: Apple has rolled out its largest update to Apple Creator Studio since the suite launched, adding AI-powered features across nearly every app in the package including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages and Numbers.

The update signals a clear shift in Apple’s strategy, moving from a collection of separate creative apps toward one connected platform.

Pixelmator Pro Goes Deeper

The most notable change is tighter integration with Pixelmator Pro, the image editing software Apple acquired in 2024. Creators can now send a frame directly from Final Cut Pro into Pixelmator Pro to edit thumbnails, posters or graphics, then bring them back into their video project without switching apps. The same workflow applies to images inside Keynote, Pages and Numbers, where users can now open and edit visuals in Pixelmator without leaving the document.

Final Cut Pro Gets Smarter

Video editors are getting several AI upgrades. An improved Auto Mask tool makes it easier to isolate people and objects accurately. New intelligent editing features aim to cut down on repetitive manual work during post-production. Apple has also added options for generating custom shapes and graphics directly inside projects, reducing the need for third-party tools.

On top of these, the update brings Generate Captions, which uses on-device AI to automatically transcribe audio and place subtitles into the timeline. Edit Detection can analyze a finished video and split it back into individual clips, a useful feature when working without an original project file.

Logic Pro for Music Creators

Logic Pro’s Chord ID tool has been rebuilt for more accurate harmonic analysis, now supporting extended chords and inversions. A new Producer Project gives users access to professional templates inspired by Grammy-winning producers. MainStage also gets a new granular sync mode aimed at improving live performances and sound design.

Productivity Apps Also Updated

Keynote, Pages and Numbers can now generate custom shapes using AI, while the Pixelmator integration allows users to edit embedded images without interrupting their workflow.

Pricing

The update is free for existing subscribers. Apple Creator Studio costs Rs 399 per month or Rs 3,999 per year in India and includes access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage, along with premium features inside Apple’s productivity apps. New users get a one-month free trial.

Apple is clearly positioning Creator Studio as a serious alternative to Adobe Creative Cloud for creators already inside the Apple ecosystem.
