California: Google has increased the cloud storage limit on its AI Pro subscription plan, raising it from 2TB to 5TB. The company has confirmed that this upgrade comes without any increase in price.

The AI Pro plan continues to cost INR 1,950 per month, even with the added storage. Google says the extra space can be used across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos, just like before. This gives users more room to store emails, documents, photos, and videos. It also helps users who work with large files or create content using Google’s AI tools, which can take up a lot of space.

Google’s AI Pro plan is part of its growing focus on AI‑powered services. Along with storage, the plan offers access to advanced versions of Google’s Gemini AI models.

Subscribers get higher usage limits for Gemini 3.1 Pro and Deep Research, which help users with tasks like writing, analysis, and detailed research. These tools are integrated into apps such as Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.

The plan also supports creative work. Users can generate images, music, and videos through Google’s AI platforms, including Gemini and Search‑based tools. Enhanced photo features are also available in Google Photos.

Developers and students benefit as well. The AI Pro plan includes access to tools like NotebookLM and higher limits for coding features, along with monthly Google Cloud credits. These additions make the plan useful beyond basic storage.

Google also allows family sharing for up to 5 users under the plan. Subscribers also receive access to Google Home Premium Standard, adding more value at the same price point.

For users who need even more storage, Google offers a Google One Premium plan priced at INR 3,250 per month. That option includes 10TB of cloud storage, along with AI and productivity features similar to the AI Pro plan.

The company has confirmed that the 5TB upgrade is available to both new and existing AI Pro subscribers. Users do not have to do anything extra to avail it, as the additional storage appears automatically in their accounts.

With cloud storage needs rising and larger files filling up space faster than ever, this update makes Google’s AI Pro plan even more appealing to users. Offering significantly more storage at no extra cost also strengthens Google’s position in the growing market for bundled AI and cloud services.
